Your Piano Teacher
Hi! I'm Grace.
I've taught piano for 18 years and worked with hundreds of students, some of whom have gone on to careers in music.
I've performed at weddings, church services, and concerts, including an appearance as a featured soloist with the Black Swamp Community Orchestra. I've also accompanied the orchestra and served as a church pianist and accompanist for more than 14 years.
I've spent years studying child development, motivation, and effective teaching methods, and I continue to keep up with that research. I believe students learn best when they understand what they're doing and why. My teaching emphasizes independent thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to make progress between lessons.
